ill be honest when i first got these i was like heh these look fun and interesting but i dont have much hope for them but boy was i surprised at how well they work i was using 2 in a recoil tank on a xcube ultra and the vapor they put out was impressive for something pre-built & wicked out of the box.
so i do have some cons but its very minor i ordered a box of 5 and 1 of the coils was damaged it looked like when it was being wicked it was crushed on the side which happens i guess no one makes anything 100% but the other 4 were perfect i broke one myself... the legs are soldered on it looks like and when installing it the leg came off so i guess just be careful =]

For a father of 2 boys who has no time to build coils these are great for tc and regular power mode.

Great First Effort June 3, 2016

I just wrote a review of the Theorem RTA and would also like to share my opinions of the Notch Coil because I'm incredibly surprised by the design and can't wait to see what is done with this concept in the future.

The greatest strength of the Notch Coil is the surface area it covers and pockets where liquid can collect to be heated.  We've seen this same idea make Clapton coils the new standard for flavor and, while I don't believe the Notch Coil achieves the same heights, it does come close while adding something real to the industry.

My main problem with the Notch Coil is the leads.  Using non-resistance wire soldered to the stainless steel of the coil creates an inherent weak point where the connection will inevitably break and create problems if overused or slightly mistreated.

I'll personally stick to building my own Claptons and Fused Claptons as I enjoy the process and can tailor them to my tastes, but I will certainly keep some Notch Coils on hand at all times.
