The Center Vaping Unit (CVU) Chip that is comprised of the advanced solid state heating unit is manufactured in the United States of America and features a patented design that replaces traditional heating elements with a more sophisticated and extraordinarily durable foundation, while simultaneously being safer in material composition. The CVU does not feature metallic elements, allowing it to withstand 1832 degrees Fahrenheit without oxidizing. At room temperature, the CVU Chip rests at approximately 0.5 ohms of resistance, and can be driven from 25 to 75W alongside a maximum of 480 degrees Fahrenheit. Compared to traditional heating elements, the Altus provides superior performance at comparative wattage and temperature outputs, due to the method that results in the surface heating evenly. Wicking the CVU is done via an intuitive and guided method, allowing users to simply fold cotton over the unit and reassemble for a sure fitting.
