HCigar VT75D TC DNA 75C Box Mod

The HCigar VT75D TC builds off of the full size VT75, one of the first platforms to integrate Evolv's DNA 75C chipset, taking the dynamic and highly regarded DNA 75C and combining it with a small, dual 18650 powered (batteries sold separately) chassis. HCigar retains the overall ergonomic fit and feel of the VT series, with an overall dramatically smaller form factor, making it one of the smallest DNA 75C powered devices available today. With an effort to create a versatile, comfortable, functional, and affordable platform, HCigar has integrated Evolv's new DNA 75C chipset which provides a budget priced but highly functional output with a range of 1 to 75W alongside a full temperature control suite. The new DNA 75C is also fully compatible with Evolv's companion software Escribe, making it one of the first chipsets outside of the DNA 200 with that capability, greatly expanding the range, customization, and feature set. The VT75D retains the C Frame Zinc Alloy Chassis combined with aluminum siding to create a great balance between durability and handling. The VT75D is powered by dual high amperage 18650, with the bottom threaded disc now featuring a built in flip top handle for added convenience. Establishing itself as the premiere compact Evolv DNA 75C powered platform available today, HCigar's VT75D TC Box Mod is an extremely well balanced system at an affordable price point.

Bugzie I guess! February 2, 2018

Looks great, feels good to hold and for a two battery mod, impressive size.
Unfortunately the chip comes badly programed (easy fix) with Escribe software. But if that was not bad enough for a out of the box brand new device, the fire button started getting stuck and would not stop firing. Managed to fix it by opening the box and putting a bit of hard glue on the inside of the firing button. So far after some more use it seems ok. After watching some videos on youtube I realize that some people are having the same issue.

Great Mod January 19, 2018

It's hard to overstate just how compact this mod is for a dual battery device.
Build quality is excellent and the DNA75C is a great chip.
The only downside I found is that because it is so compact yet still weighty it feels a bit slippery. Could maybe use some rubberized panels to help with the grip.
Seriously though this makes something like the Paranormal look absolutely huge. If you want something of great quality and small, don't hesitate.
Oh, and as always VaporDNA service and delivery are fantastic.

Almost Perfect November 18, 2017

Fit, finish, and ergonomics are superb. DNA75C commissioning, not so much. Able to correct with E-scribe software, but not easy for everyone. Mods internal resistance was way off, and SS316 material definition was incorrect.
