The Different Types of Vape Devices and Their Unique Qualities

“It’s a Whole New World Out There…And it Can be Confusing as Heck” – The 10th Doctor.
Truer words were never spoken and for certain the good doctor must have been referring to the world of vaping.
As you get started on your journey into the world of vaping you will find that there is a lot of new terminologies that you will have to learn new terminology. For instance, you may not at first realize that there are a wide variety of different types of vaping devices. Here at VaporDNA, we carry three main types of devices. These are the ones most commonly used for “Nic” or nicotine vaping.
Disposable vaping systems are intended for those who just want to vape without all of the bells, whistles, and options that other systems provide. These systems are simple to use. You take the device out of the package, you activate the power cell, you turn the device on, and when it's ready to use, you use it. When the device is used up, it will alert you that it is done and you throw it away and buy a new one. These systems are convenient, and simple, but they also offer limited choices in terms of flavors, Nic Levels, and personal style options such as color or shape. These are your basic “smoke-free smoking” e-cigarette devices that first started the vaping craze and they are still a very popular choice for many users.
Ultra Portable Systems
Ultra Portable Vaping Systems are a great way for those who want to enjoy a more customized vaping experience to do so. These systems differ a lot from one device or maker to another. Some devices allow you to change out batteries, some have replaceable tanks, some use just e-liquids, while some are able to utilize strong nicotine salt based juices. No matter what kind of device you choose you can be sure that you will have the highest quality and the best features when you purchase from one of the many top rated brands that we carry in the shop. We also carry a wide range of e-liquids that are perfect for filling your UPS device so you can enjoy a broad array of different flavors, Nic levels, and vaping experiences. The most important thing to remember in using these type of devices is that you will need to have a spare battery or a portable power cell to recharge if the battery is not removable, and that you will need to refill your tank occasionally. Depending on your vaping habits you may find that you need to refill more than once a day and may need to replace your battery or recharge your device a couple of times daily.
Squonk mods, or Squonk boxes are intended for those how are more experienced and deeply passionate about their vaping. These devices often use a larger bottle, and while they are more convenient to use throughout the day for dripping versus RDA devices, you should be prepared for some disadvantages as well. The device uses a refillable and rebuildable tank connected directly to a bottom fed atomizer. The atomizer is fed by the bottle by use of a hallow 510 connector. The liquid is pushed to the atomizer by pressing on the plastic bottle via the “Squonk hole” located on the front or side of the device. When the wick is saturated and the bottle is released excess liquid is pulled back into the bottle to prevent drippage. One of the major factors that make Squonk devices different is that use a much more powerful battery and therefore can create a finer vaping experience. If one is a cloud chaser they prefer this type of vaping. Squonking is also popular for other forms of vaping which require a larger power cell to handle a stronger atomizer.
